New daughtercard with Ethernet, Mini-Combo cards

Postby Robert Morrison » Sat Dec 30, 2006 5:40 pm

As I get the last of these HCS_C Combo cards out, I'm turning my attention to networking. This will be done on a new daughtercard that will plug into the HCS_C main board, which currently is planned to have ethernet, memory, video, DAC/ADC, and IO.

However, I leveraged the HCS_C Combo card into three small but powerful Mini-Combo cards--one with a PIC DSP 30F13 chip and an FPGA, one with just the PIC DSP (I wonder if Mike G is still around, if he has any opinions on that!), and one with just an FPGA. All of them have an HCS_Net interface, additional IO, and varying amounts of prototyping space. Let me know if you want one of these puppies! I'll have pictures up on the zetaengineering website shortly.
